Townsend, Federal Tax Crimes (2013 Ed. 1 (February 2013))

The most current version of this pdf text is available for download on SSRS here.  Earlier versions of this text were formerly used for the course in Tax Fraud and Money Laundering that Jack and Larry Campagna teach at the University of Houston Law School.  For a description of the class, click here.  Jack and Larry now use a published text, Townsend, Campagna, Johnson & Schumacher, Tax Crimes (Lexis-Nexis 2008).  That published text is more suitable for a law class in Tax Crimes.  Jack continues, however, to update his pdf text and makes available the current version for download by clicking on the appropriate link in the left column.  Jack does not publish a separate errata page but does maintain a federal tax crimes blog which generally willl have all of the material items that will be included in the succeeding editiions.  Jack expects an updated version to be posted on SSRN by 8/15/12.
